Divorce Mediation
Do you want a divorce without the fighting? Do you want to start your new life without being told what to do? If you are looking for a better solution to the stress of divorce, mediation could be the answer you are looking for. It could be in the best interest of you and your children.
Divorce mediation is an option that allows you and your spouse to work out and resolve disagreements or conflicts that you might be experiencing in the divorce process, without allowing a third party, the judge, whom neither of you knows, to make the decisions for you... that you will have to live by. Who do you want to be in control of your life?
With the use of a mediator, you and your spouse are able to resolve your conflicts in a more civilized manner. The mediator takes a neutral stance, and does not give advice or show bias for one party or the other. What the mediator does do is to help you both understand what you are trying to resolve, and to keep your attention focused on solving the issues at hand.
Joryn is a Florida Supreme Court certified family law mediator, and she can help you resolve your differences with each other, without the expense and stress of trial.
Are you tired of the endless battles? Do you want to avoid being at the mercy of the courts? Do you want to control your own life?
Divorce is not easy. It is stressful and frustrating for everyone involved - and the pain inflicted by going to trial can be so damaging that it injures even your children.
If you are looking for an amicable solution to splitting up, collaborative divorce may be the best option for you.
Collaborative divorce is a more amicable approach to parting for couples who wish to end the fighting, and to remain on good terms with each other, especially when children are involved. Unlike traditional court divorce, your attorneys work together with you and your spouse as a team, not as opponents, to help you resolve and settle the issues. Furthermore, you and your spouse are able to take control of decisions regarding property, finances and your children, thus making the results more acceptable to everyone involved.
Paternity
Are you pregnant, but not married to your child's father? Are you the father, but uncertain about your rights?
It is important to know where you stand legally in regards to your children. Paternity law covers all facets of the rights and responsibilties of both fatherhood and motherhood when the parents are not married to each other, whether you are fighting for custody, negotiating child support, or seeking an established visitation schedule with your children.
